the Government wanted a beautiful spot to house the world’s finest collection of
armour; they chose Brewery Wharf, Leeds. It seemed a natural choice then to
house the finest foods and the finest wines in the same surroundings.
Whilst a few bemoan the loss of traditional English Pubs, many more have accepted that
changes in our leisure habits are inevitable. The Waterfront Bar & Restaurant is
one of Leeds’ newest and classiest leisure destinations with luxurious booth
seating overlooking the magnificent River Aire. If you set out to be
exceptionally good at something, it takes commitment and dedication.
The
Waterfront staff and management understand that and consequently, recognition
for their efforts has come in the shape of constant praise from customers and
reviewers. As an added feather in the cap, The Waterfront has already been
shortlisted for ‘Best Chef’ and ‘Best European Restaurant’ in the 2009 Oliver
awards…. quite a coup for the new kid on the block.
